The challenges behind brand performance

Strong brand plans need effective execution.

Even well-funded brand teams face friction across vendors, patient support, pharmacy channels, field engagement and internal workflows. The challenge is not always a lack of strategy; it may be a gap between the plan, the people carrying it out and the measures used to judge performance.

  1. PSP value is hard to demonstrate

Enrollment and operational reports don’t always make costs, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities clear.

  2. Pharmacy channels are underused

A promising program may not fit the day-to-day workflow of pharmacists and pharmacy teams.

  3. Commercial teams spend time on coordination

Reporting, vendor follow-ups and repetitive administration pull attention from higher-value activities.

  4. Engagement channels feel disconnected

Field, approved content, digital initiatives and partner activities may operate in silos.

  5. Brand growth requires prioritization

Leaders need an evidence-based view of which initiatives deserve additional resources.

What we help improve

Focused advisory. Actionable implementation.

Priority services

PSP Performance & Value Review

Assess how a patient support program is organized, governed and measured. Identify administrative bottlenecks, vendor coordination gaps and opportunities to improve performance visibility and resource allocation.

Typical scope: KPI and reporting review; process maps; enrollment and time-to-therapy friction analysis where lawful data are available; vendor responsibility mapping; improvement backlog; 90-day priorities.

Boundary: Advisory and operational improvement, not patient-specific medical advice or direct PSP operations.

Pharmacy Channel Strategy & Activation

Develop pharmacy-facing engagement and service workflows grounded in how Canadian pharmacies operate. Translate brand objectives into practical, compliant program concepts, pilot plans and partner requirements.

Typical scope: Channel assessment; pharmacy workflow study; barriers to participation; pilot design; partner selection; measurement plan.

Boundary: Promotional and professional education materials go through the client’s legal, medical and regulatory review. No payment for prescribing or dispensing is implied or arranged.

AI-Enabled Commercial Operations

Reduce avoidable manual work in campaign coordination, vendor management, reporting and approved-content administration through practical workflow improvements and carefully governed automation.

Typical scope: Workflow mapping; inefficiency baseline; opportunity prioritization; technical feasibility; approved-tool implementation plan; scoped delivery support.

Boundary: No sensitive patient data, confidential protocols or proprietary content is connected to unapproved AI systems, and no unreviewed AI-generated promotional content is produced.

Also available

How an engagement works

From a defined problem to an executable plan.

  1. Clarify the decision

A short conversation about your brand or program priorities, current operating model, urgency and decision owner.

  2. Scope the assessment

Agree on the data, stakeholders, deliverables, specialist involvement, timeline, confidentiality and fixed fee.

  3. Deliver actionable findings

A prioritized opportunity register, estimated financial and operational impact where evidence supports it, and a 90-day plan.

  4. Support implementation

Where useful, scope follow-on workflow, vendor or commercial execution work in a separate engagement.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you replace our PSP provider or creative agency?

Usually not. We can review defined operating or performance issues and work alongside existing providers where scope, access and responsibilities are agreed.

Can you help implement recommendations?

Yes. Where appropriate, implementation is proposed separately with clear workstreams, accountable owners and any required specialists.

Do you produce promotional or medical content?

Specialist content development, if required, must be separately scoped and subject to the client’s applicable medical, legal and regulatory review.

Is this an AI consulting service?

AI is one possible implementation tool. We start with a business problem, establish an appropriate workflow and use only data and systems authorized for the engagement.

What does a first engagement look like?

A focused diagnostic or defined workstream with agreed deliverables, access requirements, timeline and fee. We do not quote a standard fee before understanding scope.
